Second up, we have post-doctoral researcher Dr. Julienne Weegels who will share her publishing experiences as an early career scholar. How to publish while writing a PhD monograph? How might one plan and manage writing time? What journal to pick for your publication?
And last but not least, we have Dr. Rivke Jaffe, web editor and editorial board member of the International Journal of Urban and Regional Research, co-editor of the European Review of Latin American and Caribbean Studies and editorial board member of American Anthropologist. Rivke will share her insights on the publishing process. What do journal editors look for when reviewing submissions? What are some of the most common reasons why articles get rejected? And what are some of the tips for improving your work and increasing the chance to pass the review process?
